Originally published in 1976, Walter Zimmermann’s book Desert Plants was reissued by MusikTexte in 2020. The book includes interviews with 23 diverse American composers, and is enriched with many original photos and scores. The new edition comes along with a CD containing the restored audio recordings of the interviews on mp3.
